A Wild & Joyful Isle of Skye Elopement (with a Toddler in Tow)

Yvette and Roy travelled all the way from the Netherlands with their young son and a baby on the way to celebrate a very special chapter in their lives. Their April 2025 elopement was filled with raw emotion, nature’s dramatic beauty, and joyful family moments.

The Isle of Skye is famously adventurous and dramatic – offering sweeping landscapes and epic backdrops.

But you don’t need to climb its highest peaks to experience its magic.

Even with a toddler and pregnancy in tow, Yvette and Roy’s day was tailored to suit their unique adventure, ensuring the experience was both stunning and accessible.

Our day began at dawn in The Quiraing, where the early light painted the cliffs. We continued to a waterfall surrounded by wild garlic before finishing at the whimsical Fairy Glen – a place straight out of a fantasy story.

“Working with Susan was truly one of the best decisions we made. From our very first online meeting, we felt so supported and cared for. Susan took the time to listen to what we envisioned, something cinematic, a little fantasy-inspired with a sprinkle of Depeche Mode.

Susan made sure everything reflected our story. She made us feel completely comfortable. No awkward moments, just a joyful, relaxed day that the four of us genuinely enjoyed.” – Yvette

“If i could give susan a
five million star
review,
i would.”
